Long before the proposal, the National Theatre was already woven into Sheikh and Nadia’s journey. It was here, surrounded by history, art, and the gentle flow of the Vltava River, that they first met and began writing their story together.

A Romantic Request, Beautifully Accepted

With deep emotion, Sheikh reached out to the National Theatre management, sharing the story of their first date and his wish to propose on the theatre’s rooftop terrace.
The message was sincere, personal, and full of love—and it was warmly accepted.

The entire organization was gracefully coordinated by Barbora, whose care and attention transformed the idea into a seamless and intimate experience. Every detail was handled with sensitivity, allowing the couple to focus only on each other and the meaning of the moment.

The Timeless Beauty of the National Theatre

Standing proudly since the 19th century, the National Theatre is more than a cultural landmark—it is a symbol of Czech identity, resilience, and artistic spirit.

Golden Crown & Iconic Statues

The theatre’s rooftop is crowned with a gilded attic and powerful sculptural figures, most notably the dramatic triga statues—winged chariots symbolizing victory and artistic triumph. These statues watch silently over Prague, giving the rooftop a majestic, almost mythical atmosphere.

A View Over the Vltava

From the terrace, the city unfolds in layers: the river below, historic bridges, and Prague’s timeless skyline. As the light softens and the city slows down, the space becomes intimate—perfect for a promise meant to last forever.

The Moment She Said “Yes”

As the city glowed beneath them and history stood quietly around them, Sheikh asked the question.
Time seemed to pause.

Emotion, joy, and disbelief blended into a single breath before Nadia said yes—a moment filled with laughter, happy tears, and pure love. It was simple, honest, and deeply personal, exactly as a proposal should be.
