2026February Sunset and Sunrise Times in Prague
Planning a photoshoot — or just a perfectly timed walk — in Prague this February? Here are the sun times that shape the light, and how to use them.
February sun times in Prague
| Sunrise | Sunset | |
|---|---|---|
| February 1 | 7:35 | 16:55 |
| February 15 | 7:12 | 17:20 |
| End of February | 6:45 | 17:42 |
Times are approximate local times for Prague and shift a minute or two day by day.
What the light does in February
Winter is loosening its grip: days grow by almost an hour across the month, and late-February light already carries a hint of spring.
Photographer’s notes
Sunrise is still civilised — a Charles Bridge dawn shoot means arriving around 6:45, not 4:30. Snow is possible all month and transforms the city within hours; keep a flexible date if you’re dreaming of white rooftops.
Golden hour is roughly the first hour after sunrise and the last before sunset; blue hour — the city-lights-on-deep-blue-sky window — runs about 25–40 minutes after sunset.
