2026July Sunset and Sunrise Times in Prague
Planning a photoshoot — or just a perfectly timed walk — in Prague this July? Here are the sun times that shape the light, and how to use them.
July sun times in Prague
| Sunrise | Sunset | |
|---|---|---|
| July 1 | 4:53 | 21:16 |
| July 15 | 5:05 | 21:08 |
| End of July | 5:26 | 20:47 |
Times are approximate local times for Prague and shift a minute or two day by day.
What the light does in July
High summer: long evenings, warm nights — and peak tourist season on the bridges and squares.
Photographer’s notes
Crowds make timing everything: dawn (before 6:00) is the only quiet Charles Bridge, while evening sessions work best away from the center — Letná, Vyšehrad and the river banks glow until almost 21:30.
Golden hour is roughly the first hour after sunrise and the last before sunset; blue hour — the city-lights-on-deep-blue-sky window — runs about 25–40 minutes after sunset.
