2026June Sunset and Sunrise Times in Prague
Planning a photoshoot — or just a perfectly timed walk — in Prague this June? Here are the sun times that shape the light, and how to use them.
June sun times in Prague
| Sunrise | Sunset | |
|---|---|---|
| June 1 | 4:54 | 21:04 |
| June 15 | 4:48 | 21:14 |
| End of June | 4:52 | 21:16 |
Times are approximate local times for Prague and shift a minute or two day by day.
What the light does in June
The longest days of the year — the sun rises before 5:00 and sets after 21:00 around the solstice, with usable light past 21:30.
Photographer’s notes
For empty-street dawn photos this is the hardest month (4:45 calls!) — but blue hour at 21:45 over the illuminated castle is unbeatable, and there’s simply more shootable light than any other month.
Golden hour is roughly the first hour after sunrise and the last before sunset; blue hour — the city-lights-on-deep-blue-sky window — runs about 25–40 minutes after sunset.
Want your photos taken in exactly this light? See photoshoot packages or get in touch — I plan every session around the sun.
