What the light does in March

The month of the big switch: summer time begins in late March, pushing sunset past 19:30 — and the first blossoms appear in the parks by month’s end.

Photographer’s notes

Early March still offers quiet morning streets at reasonable hours. After the clock change, evening golden hour lands after 18:30 — perfect for after-work couple sessions. Watch for early magnolias at Kampa.

Golden hour is roughly the first hour after sunrise and the last before sunset; blue hour — the city-lights-on-deep-blue-sky window — runs about 25–40 minutes after sunset.

Want your photos taken in exactly this light? See photoshoot packages or get in touch — I plan every session around the sun.
